Mallory

Here's another senior who wanted something different. Her thing is downtown, with bricks and mortar, although she looked equally relaxed on the railroad tracks.

I'm having trouble imbedding the video from the football game, but I hope to have it corrected soon.

Senior Sessions

One of my favorite types of photography is the senior session. I still find myself relating to kids, especially teens. They're ready to have fun... they just need a little prodding and a cool location. And once they find out their pictures will be different from everyone else, they can really get creative. Here's a recent session with one of my young friends. You can see just how much fun she's having.

Lost...

Well, I have been posting to a blog that seems to be in the "Twilight Zone". I've made a few posts, only to have them mysteriously vanish. Gremlins?? No, not really. I set up 2 separate blogs, thinking one was not working. As it turns out, it was, but the postings were not being published. Is that about as clear as the Tennessee River? I hope to be correctly posting now. But knowing myself, I may very well do it again.

What I do...

People always ask me what type of photography I do. And my answer is : "I photograph families and children, weddings, senior portraits, corporate, commercial, and sports, and special events, and I photography both formal and casual style, and... " Well, you get the picture. The truth is, I photograph these, and more. Why? Because I truly enjoy what I do for a living. I enjoy the artistry involved in a bridal portrait, as well as the banter and attitude of a high school junior. I also enjoy the thrill of freezing a batter in mid-swing, with the ball flying off the end of the bat. At the end of the day, I never look back on a boring "shoot". The "canvas" is ever changing, and that's just the way I like it. Over the next several days, I hope to post some of the many types of photography I enjoy. I struggle with these posting and choosing images I think might catch your attention. But, I have decided to post what I enjoy, and I just hope you like them too.
